Yes!
You can get a Ps2 that plays burnt copies, VCD's, any region DVD etc.
If you live in Vancouver then buy one in Richmond. Make sure you mention you don't want the retail north american version.
Infact there is this place selling burnt ps2 games for $10 Canadian. They work perfect.
