I got this one done last year at 40 - always wanted one and finally did it.
Only regret is waiting so long. This one is for my daughter on the inside of my left forearm. I think that's a great place to put the first one - can be shown, but not always visible.

I'm covered.... my back, arms, calves, stomach, chest, ankle. Was going to sleeve but only went down to my elbows. Before my 3 year non stop party vacation I had a home in a pretty damn nice neighborhood, and was surounded by the well to do. I was glad I could cover my arm with a short sleve polo shirt when around the neighborhood. I have 9 tattoo's and will be getting more as well as having some work completed. I don't regret any of them. I started 15 years ago and the one's that have faded etc., I just get them covered with more art. The older I get the more of them I want....I LOVE IT! There are quite a few tattoo shows on TV that I suggest you watch, you may get some nifty idea's from those.AIM sherierocks

I never get people who get tattoos done.
End of the day, youre marked for life. Whether you like it or not, someone is gonna make judgements about you and about your class because of your tattoo which means that you cant play any kind of role in life. Youre limited and its for life.
Why do it? I cant count how many models ive spoken to who regret it or who's appearance has been ruined by tattoos.

I feel most people are buying into a gimmic or feel the need to identify themselves with tatoos cause they feel out of place without one. If you are going to get a tatoo at least let it have some symbolism behind. Most of these tatoos now a days are slut stamps and tribals. What the hell is the point? I love my tat but wish it would of come in darker than it did. I like dark black ink... though all tats fade some, mine faded more than I wanted. I did not want the typical tat colors, but that's what happened.
But the tat itself.. I love it.
I'm getting an old school one done this winter in Thailand with the bamboo sticks and needles. The way it was done WAY back by the trive people. Supposed to hurt like a bitch but oh well.Comment
