    The domain Wii.com

    Nintendo owns the domain wii.com but I can't imagine they have for long.

    That must've been a sweet deal for the owner.. Anyone got some facts?!

          Despite there being no Wii.com website currently online, Nintendo insisted that it has no plans to buy the name.

          "Wii.com is owned by Willamette Industries and to my understanding we are not planning on using that website," said a spokeswoman for Nintendo.

          HAHAHAHHAHAHA

                  Nintendo has always used nintendo.com. Even gamecube.com redirects to Nintendo.com.

                                                                                                                              Maybe nintendo purchased it on the downlow or they are just renting the space until the end of the year to boost sales.

                                                                                                                              either way if nintendo's logo is on that website the owner has been paid im sure a great deal of money since he is aware of the circumstances.

                                                                                                                                      yes. i am the proud owner of that domain but they took me to court to get it for nothing. they even got me to pay the transfer fee :-(
