I'm not upset at all. Nor defensive.
This is exactly the games you love to play on here that I'm talking about. If you have something direct to ask, ask it. If you have something to say, say it. Don't play games. I know this is a hobby to you but believe it or not some people consider this a business. Not a board to come on and fuck with people to get some laughs and a nice post count.Comment

Wtf are you talking about. I already said it. There seem to be problems with either nats or some programs running it. Maybe someone should have a close fucking look at it.I'm not upset at all. Nor defensive.

There are no problems. There WAS a problem with fleshlightcash which has been addressed on here a dozen times. There aren't any tracking problems or signup problems. There are a few affiliates who like to blame their problems on NATS.
If a program switches, and 100 people have improved ratios and 10 have worse ratios you will hear from 2 out of the 100 with improved ratios and all 10 of those who have worse ratios.
We check overall #s when someone is complaining about their ratios dropping (exclusive of type-in and in house traffic) and overall the #s are always in the same general range, maybe a bit down, maybe a bit up, but overall about the same.
Saying "NATS has a problem" is vague. If you have seen a problem, tell us what it is specifically. Otherwise you're just wasting people's time.Comment

Also,
"Some programs running it"... we have several hundred clients. We can't sit here and go thru every one looking for "Franck's mysterious problem". If you have an issue let us know what it actually is and we're glad to help.Comment

I have something direct to ask.
What the fuck is "verified signups" ?
Is it set up the same way for all programs or are there different variables to be used?Comment

We've realized this is an area that could be confusing or worrisome to affiliates and we are making some changes and will have an announcement about it Monday as stated above.Last edited by TMM_John; 12-03-2006, 12:26 PM.Comment

You know what my problem is? I've lost $11000 on this 'verified signups' bullshit this year and God knows how much more with the whole NATS switch.
I think is only fair to wonder why my sales got 2x worse since the switch.Comment

Flashcash has ALWAYS had verified signups. They're now required to SHOW you them.Comment

I have never heard that related to our company and I cant find any single reason why this problem should exist. NATS written very well and it handles pretty amount of traffic and sales on our side.We made a lot of tests when we bought the software and the results were always exact. If the usage of NATS is correct it should work very well. This is very proffesional company and I know this from our own experience with them.Comment

If your problem is with Flashcash moving to NATS why don't you complain to Flashcash about moving to NATS rather than just running complaining about us. If there really is a widespread problem and it is effecting all Flashcash affiliates and they all complain about it to Flashcash I'm quite sure they would move away from our software. Most likely the problem is the issue isn't as widespread as you would like to believe.Last edited by TMM_John; 12-03-2006, 12:41 PM.Comment

I haven't seen every nats program come here and say ratios & sales improved once they added nats. Some have, some do, and some don't. Nats has 300ish clients, I see most gfy posts target the same 8 clients and complain.
I'm sure Mayor won't mind some good promo here. I have seen how well webmasters do with MayorsMoney. They have great sites, great niches, and NATS setup how it should be setup. They convert amazing and so do webmasters.
I have promoted NATS, MPA, CCBill, and almost every half popular program. The software has made little difference. The sites, the niche, and if they dried up for my traffic made the difference. Some people change and it hurts, some people don't change and it hurts, others grow and have mad success.
It's not the software.

Thank you. Its not odd that from time to time a few people will see a negative effect or coincidentally after the move their performance worsens. Unfortunately, in this industry, and especially on this board, those people tend to be very very loud where as those who do well try to keep as quiet as they can.I have never heard that related to our company and I cant find any single reason why this problem should exist. I did complain. All their webmasters did (just take a look at their message board)If your problem is with Flashcash moving to NATS why don't you complain to Flashcash about moving to NATS rather than just running complaining about us. They just say that everything is normal.
I actually believed that untill I saw how many people here on GFY have had problems since the NATS switch.Comment

I have spoken to Buddy about it before and I will again this week. Believe me, if there IS a problem I want nothing more than to find it. If affiliates aren't happy with NATS, NATS becomes worthless. As Doc said, we have hundreds of clients, the complaints are often about a small few and from a certain group of people. Nevertheless, I have no problem at all looking into something. All you have to do is ask us to and we will. Unfortunately that is usually never done and people just start posting generalized NATS threads on GFY for whatever reason they feel that is the right thing to do.
Also, Flashcash is a very large program which has been around for a very long time. What may seem like a lot of affiliates complaining may be very much a minority relative to the size of the program.Last edited by TMM_John; 12-03-2006, 12:49 PM.Comment

This is true.I often hear our partners saying that they wont share their stats just to keep the program unsaturated, which is almost a myth I think. Lots of old classic sites keep rolling with same ratios these days.Thank you. Its not odd that from time to time a few people will see a negative effect or coincidentally after the move their performance worsens. Unfortunately, in this industry, and especially on this board, those people tend to be very very loud where as those who do well try to keep as quiet as they can.Comment

Yeah, thats the main reason I hear for those who are happy keeping quiet. I can understand them of course, but I think you're right in that it's more of an urban legend. Many large sites have been around for years and years with very heavy affiliate promotion and still convert just as well as the day they were launched.Comment

You say that I "bash" you but I'm not.
I only say that for me personally I don't do well with programs that use your system. I cannot pin-point a particular reason.
I am 1:15000 with a program that uses NATS and it's a program with really good sites. I used to do well with them but things went down very steeply. It wasn't like I got fewer, then fewer, then fewer sign ups.
I went from "slamming" to nothing. Once the signups stopped they never returned, not even an occasional signup.
A sudden stop in sign ups seems like something went wrong rather than things are slowing down.Done.Comment

Have you ever contacted us to look into it for you?You say that I "bash" you but I'm not.

Thats exactly what happened to me.
And trust me, when you're making 40-50 sales per day, things like that stand out pretty obviously.Comment

I contacted the sponsor and they said "everything looks good on our end".
Which to me means thay didn't actually look at anything.
It's not like they said: "We did 3 test sign ups; your main link, your hosted gallieries, and a bookmark and they all worked perfectly."Done.Comment

We've said time and time again affiliates can contact us if they have a problem and we will look into it. What sponsor program is it and what is your account name? I will contact them and get it looked into.I contacted the sponsor and they said "everything looks good on our end".

interracialtoons; a general suggestion for you. Take the auto-playing sound off your page. That will get a nice % of surfers to close their browser very quickly and never visit your site again. The last thing they need is their wife or children woken up at 3am while they are surfing porn.Comment

I agree fully. Almost every company has their nats setup differently with the cascades, tracking etc.If someone knows of a problem or bug with nats, they will fix it. But between webmasters, surfers, and the programs nobody has seen any "issues" that would cause sales or ratios to drop.
NATS programs can be setup very differently. From processors, the amount of processors, how exits/xsales work and credit, if we have geoip or not, and more than I can list. NATS also tracks more clicks, all clicks even if the visitor never sees the tour. Then we have to look at the sites, the niches, all that bs..
I have seen sites using nats which convert 1:200-400 for webmasters steady for long periods of time.
I like to think that if something is wrong, someone would have noticed it. Lots of smart people use nats in all types of ways. Look at the program, look at the setup, the niches, and errors made by the program.. No reason to blame the software until we can find a problem with the software.
We have seen our sales nearly double since putting in NATS. Cascading accounts for some of that.XXXRewards - Karups - Boyfun - Jawked. Paying on time since 1997. Contact me at brent [at] xxxrewards.comComment

They were contacted and they did what they are going to do.
I just wrote the program off.
I'm not going to beg 3 or four differrent people to check into the problem.
If they say everything is working then that means the entire program is crap and should be dumped since I can't make any money with "everything working".Done.Comment

No, that was just the one that seems so ridiculous that I would think the sponsor would really look into it. if I had an affiliate sending non-popup/exit traffic with a 1:15000 ratio then I would try to find a way to make that better for my sake alone.Done.Comment

I doubt you will, but could you tell me the programs you had issues with?
It doesn't help anyone to just make random general complaints with no info so the problem can't be looked into.Comment
