There's a big difference between active and paying. Its almost a given than more than 10% of the 3.5 million members are active but its very unlikely 10% are paying. Based on Match.com's public disclosures, about 3.6% of their members are paying. Other proprietary information on other sites is also in line with Match's numbers.
