Karla Homolka: Reformed? Right ....

For the uninitiated, Homolka, 35, has served a 12-year sentence for her role in the sex slayings of two Ontario schoolgirls. She's being released in July.

"Her plan was to change her name legally, for a second time, and her appearance. She thought that living in Quebec would be preferable because she considered it to be 'a separate country,' " Menzies wrote in 2000.

Homolka also told the psychiatrist that she was prepared to work at "anything legal."

Homolka told (a shrink) that she did not consider the relationship to be homosexual because "Veronneau saw herself as a man and planned to undergo a sex operation in due course," the psychiatrist wrote.

12 years is really too short a sentence to serve for the sinister crimes she helped commit. For everyone's sake, I hope she'll be watched like a hawk.

From what I've seen and read it seems a convenient excuse that she was 'devoted' and whatnot and her husband 'made' her do it.

She liked it I bet, she's just as bad as he is, but she managed to play on the whole 'women are weak and easily manipulated' angle and got the 12 year reduced sentence deal for testifying against him.
