“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”
This is so much! Not less that 500$. But this is my opinion only.
And your opinion is based on what? Your post count? Enlighten us why shitty "word", "I agree" and "i'd hit it"-post bring anything of value to any company buying that sig.
well it would be 36,500 posts per year which is more than most people have in here that have been on GFY since 2001-2002. For only a few hundred per month.

Maybe just getting the sig/marketing message out there as much as possible? I dunno..
I've noticed a lot of increased webmaster activity (sign ups) and traffic to my sites since my post count has been increased over the past month. is it worth $500 per month? I don't know. perhaps long term, but then again it's only been a month.

Might work.. not sure though.
You won't be able to sustain it though, you will get a lot of heat, you might be able to do it for a month or 2, and then you will probably be asked to take it easy....

I wouldn't pay a worthless sigwhore to fly my sig.
Take for example that Cristie biotch
someone asks for bulletproof hosting and she says "see sig"
without having a clue what bulletproof is.
Now someone who doesn't know would think that the host she
has in her sig accepts spam.
What brings value to having a signature is placing your product in from of the eyes of people that are looking for it. Having 100 posts a day will undoubtedly get your product in front of many eyes, but simply 'seeing' the sig does not attach large value. It helps in branding, but sometimes this style of branding will backfire and there will be a few webmasters who will not promote your product because of it. Unless you are selling something amazing, webmasters always have plenty of options. And if it is amazing, chances are you won't need to blast it everywhere.
I've found personally that posting something of value can yield 1000x the results than any random 'see sig' or 'would you hit it' response. And by 'results' I am referring to the signing up of real webmasters to a program that can actually make sales. In general, successful webmasters are the ones who research a product and company, instead of just trying something that is put in front of them. They talk with the owner of the company, and really know if the product will fit their needs.
There are many half assed programs out there, way too many in fact. And this board is slow... too slow. I don't like the idea of anything that slows it down and moves business threads off the first page faster.
Another important note is that I have no idea what products any of the power posters are flying in their sigs. None whatsoever. All the power posting seems to accomplish is to brand the GFY nick, and not necessarily the program in their sig.
didnt adult wardden pay u like $60 for just a text link though?
60? lol are you kidding me? I dont fuck around for 60$
it was made public that I was paid 500$ for the text link.
And as I said the day of the 1000 sig whore is over
i dont bother even sellin anymore
i took out the company I WORK FOR ( www.oainternet.com btw ) for NatNet as they donated a huge amount of money to charity
but no ..60 dollars? ya gotta be KIDDING ME.
Want some more gfy history?
For about 2 yeras straight I sold my signature to cecash for a very nice amount every month for two years straight.
