what to do... easy... tourist shit.. well corrigagor island.. early ferry to the island what was hammered by the japanese in the early days of the war..
go north to batagus .. coffee country.
best island is borocay... sugar white sandy beaches, attempt the 21 and still standing drink test at moondogs.
clubbing.. mmmm go where the wealthy pinos go.. if studabakers is still around at the alayla center ( shopping mall) ... the hard rock is good.. but usually loaded with western expats and their groupies..
burgos street is the girlie bars.. the best place to eat is at the filling station above bottoms bar.. and above the filling station was very good simple hotel for about 30 bucks a night cant remember the name.. but up a little ways from bottoms was a condo hotel.. very good deal called the metrotown .. 70 usd but fully furished apartment hotel.. with kitchen and a huge shower. just no room service.
el gordos on burgos is good place to shoot pool and drink beer with being hustled.. but the filling station has few tables but the off hour bar girls are sharks at eight ball.
DO NOT GO TO THE CENTRAL MARKET.. being a foriegner you will attract the low life hustlers and pick pockets.. seriousily.. avoid this place...
oh .. gifts... at the ayala center there is a dept store called the shoe mart.. its a big store like supermarket.. go down stairs... there you will find a vast array of handi crafts from all over the pi.. wooden carvings and such.. in its dirt cheap.
if your looking for clothes.. that are trendy.. and stylish.. of outstanding quality.. bench is the label.. its great stuff.
ask the pino girls.. and if they see you wearing bench .. they will think your the bomb.
