I know you are just the messenger but as a Sponsor I have to speak out about this issues.
First of all you have moved this event to a pool side get together instead of a true tradeshow. Personally I think that was a great move, but now that you are going to charge girls $300.00 per to attend you will eliminate a large amount of the eye candy. That webmasters like Roger, LA Mike, JB, might have brought. So now you have a Pool Party

Let?s think about this in night club terms. You have ladies nights where girls get in free and even drink for free so guys will come. NO GIRLS NO GUYS. AVN should take this same approach where ALL girls get a pink badge and are allowed in FREE. So you loose 30-40 registrations this year because you did not collect on a few girls like Naughty Ally or Vanilla. SO WHAT!!!!! This is going to be nothing compared to the hundreds next year of guy webmasters that don?t come because it was the FLORDIA SASUAGE FEST

How long do you think 600 drunk guys are going to stay at an on site party with no girls before they break into small groups and start heading to South Beach. Now as a sponsor we have lost all that time to NETWORK (why you go to the show to start with)
ANSWER About 1 hr
RESULT: We down size our Staff orr not attend this event next year.
BAD MOVED, but in KB words nobody at AVN is listening to the people they are throwing the show for in the first place?????

Everytime my bro and I tried to promote a POOL PARTY in South Florida for one of these shows we had disastrous outcomes-
It's why you won't see a PLayers Ball anywhere near that event any more-
AVN Pool Party will be rained out- and they'll be laughihg their asses off at you fools that paid $300 for a badge when you are all under an overhang, trying to stay dry.
I can see all of the smokers now huddled around bitching about the rain and they can't keep their cigarrettes dry

crazy how I have to Pay $1200 to bring 4 girls to hang out. I could have thrown another contest and gave back to the webmasters, We are also giving away Sony PSP in Choker raffle. I was going to sponsor some parties but now I'm not sure.
bottom line is your right they need to listen to the webmasters because trust me i know there is no loyalty. LOL
