SAN FRANCISCO, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The celebrity producer behind the Paris Hilton tapes is taking on Donald Trump in a Bay-Area battle for reality TV's biggest audience.
Kevin Blatt made one of the best-selling videos of all time and shattered the mold of popular entertainment. Now he's taking on reality TV, describing his new show The Ultimate, Ultimate Challenge as "the most shocking and brutal contest in reality show history."

Blatt is holding auditions in San Francisco this Saturday, July 16th, in a deliberate effort to trump NBC's hit The Apprentice and mock The Donald's reputation for toughness. "My show makes The Apprentice look like band camp," Blatt says. "There are no limits, no weak links."

Combining his resume and extreme entertainment, Blatt finds San Francisco to be the perfect launchpad for the next phase of reality TV. He claims reality shows stop far short of the hardcore action audiences really want to see, and the Golden Gate is ground zero for progressive entertainment.

"I'm taking reality TV beyond the rules, where viewers want it to go," says Blatt.

For now, Blatt is putting aside hotel heiresses and public scandal and brags that The Ultimate, Ultimate Challenge combines physical and mental tests never seen before on television. "We'll push contestants beyond their endurance, to the limits of their lives." We'll see if San Francisco is up to the Challenge.

Auditions for The Ultimate, Ultimate Challenge are scheduled for Saturday, July 16th, 1-4pm at the U Street Lounge, 1980 Union Street, San Francisco.

The Ultimate, Ultimate Challenge is produced by Ultimate Challenge Productions in association with D-Money Presents. Kevin Blatt -- Executive Producer, Myles Yates -- Supervising Producer, Gil S. Ripley and Dave Roberts -- Show Creators, George Gray -- Host.

Candidates for The Ultimate, Ultimate Challenge must be at least 18 years of age; must be in excellent physical and mental health; must not now be a candidate for public office and must agree not to become one until six months after initial broadcast of all programs in which they appear, and must not be a member of any professional acting guild or union organization.

Most reality shows scout for months in multiple locations. This one is going to scout for a few hours at the U Street Lounge and find the proper contestants to take on Trump?

Basically, kB, in his endless recent quest for attention, has written a press release. Any of us could do the same thing.

Just a few days ago, kB was going to distribute the greatest sex video since the beginning of time.

Prior to that he was calling down hellfire and brimstone on former employers and Dave Cummings.

I have to say this is some shitty PR work. I read the release and have no idea what it is other than the outlandish claims that it will be better than The Apprentice... which does not exactly heighten anticipation and peak my curiosity, but rather creates an immediate sense skepticism. The website does not offer explanation either.

What is it exactly? What is it about? What are they competing for? Why is it different? Why is it better than the 3 trillion other mind numbingly stupid reality shows? Why is it something we haven't seen before already? Why should we watch it? Why should anyone want to compete?

Some important and obvious questions no?

No hating here. I like kB. I have no reason not to. But he's really looking bad lately. He doesn't even seem to realize it. And you, as his brother, may be too close to the situation to see it.

You do have some good points in there and I can see where this can be twisted into a KB losing his marbles.

BUT, D-Money has not lost his marbles and I can vouche for this one.

This will be a big mainstream thing. And that release was sent to KB through the news wires, he didn't know it was sent until a news source sent it to him earlier today.

Again, KB didn't send out or write this press release and both KB and I are not to leak out the details of the show. We're producers, not press people onthis one.

So we're to keep quiet on the details. Keeping quiet creates a buzz and that buzz gets people to tune in.

Also, it's not our jobs to create the buzz, we have real professionals doing that already, not KB.

It's fun to watch people hate on KB, makes me smile.

The court of GFY calls bullshit until they see it published somewhere other then an adult message board and I can understand their thinking on that.

So, someone please post where this is printed and the courts will rule KB not insane.
