reason I'm taking valium is because the last time I had to get an ingrown toenail removed, they shoved this long thick needle in both sides of my toe, I could feel it pushing through my muscle in my big toe.

I don't like valium. it doesn't have much of an effect on me except I get kind of lazy. However, I've had ingrown nails removed in both of my big toes. They also had to stitch on top of my naked nail bed (but that's another story). I know the shots you speak of. I actually had 3 of em in each toe. It hurts like crazy because they stick it in your nerve ending. It's over pretty quick though. Good luck
