    A question for the ladies!!!

Has anyone on GFY been diagnosed with PCOS or insulin resistance?
If so, what were the symptoms you had that prompted you to see your doctor?
    Thanks so much!

I know about insulin resistance... it's a symptom before you get diabetes.

insulin resistant symptoms can be darkened skin around the creases of your skin, like your elbows, your eyelids, the palms of your hands etc. and some other things... I'd have to look up in reference. I have heard a lot about it though.

insulin resistance is becoming more common in the usa due largely to obesity and diet issues.

best medicine is not pills, but a lifestyle correction.

get on a diet, exercise, and stay on a diet. find something you can stay on, i would suggest a modified atkins type diet to start, it will take about 10 days to acclimate to it so hunger cravings stop.

then ride a bike or do the jump rope routine.

being fat ain't cool, and takes years off your life.
