    email systems really need to be changed

    So today I'm getting a few hundred "failed to deliver message" replies.

    Apparently someone picked my domain name and sent spam out with my domain as the reply address. I'll probably take the flack for it from various isps and what not, black list me (not that I send emails out at all anyway).

    But seriously, it's so sad how easy it is to just put anything you want into the reply address and send anything off to millions of people.

    There really needs to be a better way.

      Happened to one of my old businesses, that one commercial spam cop place tried blackmailing me 20k, saying i should pay them if i want to mail. pretty fucking halirious, wonder what morons actually pay them, probably was them that spammed

                  She's about ready to pop at this point. She's so huge that people stop her and ask her when the twins are due, and refuse to believe that it's just one baby in there.

                  Our due date is the 25th, but because of the sheer size and discomfort it's causing poor mommy, the doctor has told us that should he not be born by the 25th, he'll induce then.

                  Usually they wait 10 days after to induce... give you some time, but not us. If he's not out by the time he's due, he's coming out.. before he gets any bigger.

                  I'm sure you have the link to my baby site, check out the latest pictures of Natalie. She's ALL tummy.

                      The whole god damn internet was built incorrectly, hence the large amount of hacks, fraud, spam, you name it. The infrastructure is horrible to begin with.

                              Thats called a "joe job" ,Stuart.It sucks big time receiving all the bounces and complaints.
                              The guys that designed the internet never thought it would get this big.Remember it was built mainly for military and educational use.
                              Now its being taken over by spyware and spamming scumbags.
                              Hope a new mail standard is decided upon soon.

                                                  Yup, all my domains have catch alls... this spam that went out has a "bruce_riley@" in the reply. Obviously, there's no such account in my system.

                                                  Sometimes a catch all can be a real pain in the ass.
