For me, if I know the person it doesn't matter. I havea gmail account and use it for a lot of business. But when I contact someone for the first time, if they have a free email account, it seems a little funny to me. I find myself wondering how I'm supposed to trust someone that doesn't even have a real email account.
It really is stupid, you could call it profiling
but I do sometimes have that feeling.
