Press Release:
3rd Annual Toy Drive brings joy to children
Los Angeles (November 30, 2005) ? Today markesd the offical launch of the "Webmaster Toy run" website (
www.webmastertoyrun.com), which is a non-profit joint venture created by Mike from Sexentertain, JMK from Full On Video and Patrick from Marks Book-marks.
The ?Webmaster Toy Run? was started in 2004 with the idea that children that have had challenges in their life might experience a little joy from something as simple as a plush animal. According to Mike M, Sexentertain co-founder, ?We wanted to find a way to connect directly with abandoned, abused or terminally ill children and make their holiday a little less difficult. We contacted several State and privately run organizations and were able to drop off toys to the children face-to-face. It was one of the most rewarding experiences being able to bring a smile to a child that has been needlessly suffering.? JMK of Full on Video.com who was also instrumental in creating the initial idea stated ?In 2004 we just asked a few of our webmaster friends to donate some toys?by the end of the week we had over $5,000 in donations. This year we figured we would step up the process and see if we can build on that webmaster generosity.?
Anyone can visit
www.webmastertoyrun.com for details on how to donate. You don?t need to be in the Los Angeles area to donate we are expanding the donations to the entire country. If you have a specific charity you want to donate contact one of us directly and let us know, we will make it happen.
Webmaster toy run wants to thank everyone in advance for their donations and as a small gesture of thanks we have created a ?Wall of Fame? with the names of the contributors. Even if you are unable to donate to our listed organizations we encourage everyone to spread a little joy to those that are less fortunate this holiday season and throughout the new year.
