Look man.. I'm a Canadian, I have been a Canadian since birth, and I'm sitting here telling you that my taxes aren't that bad, and our health care system for all intents and purposes is free. Yes it's taken from our taxes but we are paying taxes regardless. All I know is that whenever anyone I know is admitted to the hospital for anything, there is no huge bill upon release. There is no small bill. There is NO bill. So it's free in that sense.

If you go to the ER for a sprained ankle when the ER is busy you're going to wait. Big deal. But if you go in with something more serious like chest pain or a stab wound you're going to be taken in and treated immediately.
