barber shops are great fun, i miss them but prefer the "salon" for sure. $45 for hair and eyebrows, every 1.5 - 2 weeks.

Girls also get their hair cut a lot less than guys. I figured it out once and I pay more in a year than several of my girl friends, and I only pay $15 a pop + tip. I try to go every 3 weeks or so.

My bill is usually around $150, ( I think its about $70 for the actual cut) but the hair salon i go to does give customers free Heinekens so it doesnt seem so bad

We have a similar setup like that here in Austin although I haven't been yet

that's a really good point - I know since I've had longer hair I haven't had it cut in ages, though when I do go it's about $100.

about $25 with tip - it's a decent mid range salon in a high end mall- could goto better but i get used to one girl and keep using her again and again - had this one for a few years now. hard to go over $35 in winnipeg for a man's haircut. in toronto i'd expect the same quality cut would be $40 from a salon... just cheap here.
