is sedo.com making anyone money?

Anyone has been using sedo.com in the past/present?

I have a website with arround 200k uniques a day, all real traffic (no popups, forced visits, blind linked and stuff).
80% bookmarks, 15% google and 5% just sites linking me.
It's a celebrity website.

If one day I decide to park my domain at sedo.com, or another service like that, how much money will I make with the parked domain the first month/year?

I just like to have an idea since I am planning on buying out my partner, and if I have to shut down the website duo some copyright issues... (however it's not a paysite)

parking is really only worth doing for type in domains. your bookmarkers will stop coming back, you will likely fall in the serps. if you don't have type in traffic, don't bother parking it. with that ammount of traffic you will make money, but it won't last forever. why park the domain? sell the site for year and half worth of revenue.

Thank you for your anser, I totaly understand that.

Let me tell you, I don't want to park/sell the domain, I want to keep it running as long as possible (doing it for allmost 3 years now).
But if I have to remove allmost all it's content, nobody is going to give me a 1.5 year revenue for that website... So I probably have to park it.

Anyone else?

Why are you removing the content? 2257 regulations? Sell it to someone overseas.

I would suggest you use fabulous.com before sedo if you do decide to park. They offer much better payouts. The only problem is that they require you park a large number of domains with them (at least 50 I think) but try to contact them and they´ll probably make an exception since you have a very high traffic domain.
I use sedo myself and they payouts per click are looow

exgfmovies.com, exgfclips.com, datesx.com, gayboards.com and more!

I'm using Sedo and Domainsponsor myself and I'ld recommend the last one if you mainly have US based traffic. For traffic coming from other countries Sedo IMO would be the better choice!

I have about 38% US based traffic, 10%UK and about 45% european traffic on that domain.
Since I am planning on buying out my partner, it would be very interesting for me to know what gros profit the domain would make if I just send 200k unique 1 day to sedo/domainsponsors/fabulous/other.
It's 100% celebrity traffic.

Anyone have an idea?

Hmm....it's very hard to tell how much income you'ld have, but have you considered sending the traffic directly to a sponsor program already?

Parking didn't work too well on some domains I sent to Sedo, they are doing a bit better 303'ing the traffic.

you never have to shut down a site, provided it makes sufficiently good money. if spammers can keep their sites up, you sure as hell can keep yours up.

it's really not worth taking a 200k day site and parking it, unless those 200k a day are from type-ins. move it offshore, pay someone else to run it, whatever it takes. it will be worth the extra effort now to keep the site up. it will payoff for years to come. unless the revenue it's earning is just chump change to you, then do whatever the fuck ya want with it.

I would put script that rotates FHG of celebs and just make it so I dont have content on my site but only links to FHG so something like fake celeb TGP or sell it for money to naakt or someone who want to buy it
