docs fucked my arm up! Malpractice Lawsuit! (pics)
well I *thought* I broke my wrist, had the cast on for 3 weeks went back for my checkup/ good news and...
When I went in for my checkup they xray'd it again and noticed that it had been casted, dislocated for three weeks with multiple fractures,the ortho tech doctor just about shit when he saw the xrays, HUGE error! He asked me if it was done within days, i told him weeks and he was flipping,,, I had broken some serious bones, one with your radial artery was broke. So being set in a cast wrong for that long could have led to gangrene by blocking blood flow to the hand, which i could feel happening, also couldnt feel some fingers as the nerves are injured SO.... I had to have surgery in three spots because I broke and flip/spum/shifted all my little carpal bones, plus broke the tip of my ulna.which was the only thing the orignal doc was working off of.
So now i got steel cable holding all me carpal bones in order cuz they wouldnt stay otherwise... It's looped through them all and just the two ends stick out, in two weeks they will take this blood soaked cast off and pull the cable out with pliers.... eeeek
cast weighs about 50 pounds cuz i bled so much, because he had to really "work" in there cuz of the scar tissue of three weeks worth of setting wrong but he didnt want to change it cuz its setting good now. fucking thing stinks man, plus my scaphoid is still probably die... which means it'll harden like a little dried up nut and not form with the other bones...
I did that in motocross. I am having problems needless to say because of the ammount of time it sar out of place. So I will be talking to a lawyer, but in Canada we dont get away with sueing the pants off of people, specially not over worked doctors. So who knows, im just pretty bummed out because this is really bad, and they made it 100% worse... I wonder what the lawyer will say....
all my little carpals were "rolled" over from the way i fell, and some broke... now linked together by steel cable...

I am thankful for the very skilled surgeon who is trying to fix this mess
