What is the best approach to start a career as an adult webmaster?

I see two options for a newbie to start out:

1. Going for the instant cash by building galleries and submitting them.

Positive side:
You can build a nice income for yourself pretty fast and by doing this and make 1 to 1,5K a month without much trouble.

Negative side:
You have to keep doing the same work over and over, day in day out to maintain your income and you will be left out from the big money.

2. Starting up a project like a TGP or a big chain of blogs or something else

Positive side:
If you succeed you will make much more than when you went for option one + you will create a business that will also get it's value over time.

Negative side:
You will have to invest money in something you are not sure that you can make happen. The first months, even years you won't earn a substantial income and most of your earnings you will need to reinvest into your project.

So what is the smartest thing for the newbie today to do?

Do it all, work hard and try out new ideas. No need to start with loads of money and your own server, you can scale your investments by income easily.

you start small with gallery submitting...then move up with blogs and tgps...galleries is the easiest starting point...

Yes but the newbie doesn't know about those options, sure there are many other ways but most newbies will never come up with those. You find out about the other ways when you have been active for a while. This question is just newbie related.

You're assuming the newbie would already be good at building galleries to make $1 to $1.5K a month, wich is very unlikely, plus he would need to invest on partner accounts if he wanted to get anywhere and it would also be a good way of burning alot of bandwidth. Sure he could go for revshare or sponsor hosting and submit only to the free tgp's, but that would be a slow as fuck way to start.

Here is my simple to follow, foolproof guide that will require you to do little actual work.

Step #1- get a nic on GFY

Step #2- make a few hundred posts a day.

Step #3- stir up some drama or get involved in some drama of GFY.

Step #4- brag about how smart you are, how dumb everyone else is and how well you do. Doing #2-#4 will make you famous on GFY.

Step #5- sell your sig.

Step #6- piss off a few too many people and disappear for a few weeks.

Step #7- This one has a couple of options. First you pronounce yourself as being back from a big vacation or self imposed exile and tell everyone you are a new person as you apologize to those you have pissed off. Second, you do one of the following: A. post a great deal offering some kind of service like design work. When the orders roll in demand half the money up front. Take the money you get and disappear. or B. Announce how you have had some kind of tragedy in your life and you are now desperate for money. Open a paypal and epass account and get people to donate money to you thinking they are helping you out. You then take the money and disappear.

Step #7- Wait a few months, register with a new nic and start over again.

Do it all. The best advice I ever read on a board was "start building and never stop". New webmasters can do galleries, free sites, use free TGP scripts, free blogs...there is always someone out there offering anything you need for free, so take advantage of it.

No one should make their income dependent on just one income source. So use various sponsors, read everything you can, try to come up with new ideas or twists on old ideas and just keep building

Follow this:

Start with raising $2k

Buy a hell of a lot of proxiservers and a good anonymous emailserver and start spamming.
earn $20k this way.

Use the $20k to promote shady things such as spyware, zango ect.

A yeah has gone by and you now have $100k, use this money to buy a legit adult biz and have fun
