It's no shocker considering she doesn't seem like the brightest bulb in the lot, but rumors are flying that Britney Spears and her trailer-park hubby Kevin Federline are running out of cash. Considering they're styling in a $7 million home and they're living a lavish lifestyle full of Starbucks coffee and fast cars, with no income from either side, Britney called up her record label and is suggesting that they "cut another album."

Preggers Brit has it pretty good. Considering she doesn't really sing and she can't do her usual stripper act onstage because she's turning into a cow, she simply has to request that her record label synthesize the whole project and use the smoke and mirrors they usually do to make the album.

And any self-respecting music lover would not purchase such a record. But then, how did Brit become a millionaire to begin with? That's right, we're suckers for a piece of raunchy ass

You never know ... I watched a thing on VH1 the other night and the amount of money superstarts spend money on is ridiculous. And yes, I admit I watched Chaotic with Britney and Kevin this evening (nothing was on...promise) and they lived quite the lifestyle. You hear all the time once actors, singers, etc running out of cash ... these two could have done it. Would be a lot of cash to spend, but I think it is still possible.

Record labels usually fuck over wannabe stars with bad contracts. Even the bigger names in the business don't get a big share because they can't just run their real own label (and I'm not talking about pseudo labels that are distributed and promoted by the same big labels again) and have the same success, no matter how famous you are.

The big mainstream sellers usually can live good off their few cents per CD and especially concerts but those who started the big lifestyle, are taken advantage of, usually spend most of their money to save on taxes because someone told them to do that and if no fresh money comes in they're fucked.

Johndoebob is right, popstars really don't make anything from cd sales anymore, it's endorsements and concerts that make money for them. That's why MC Hammer went broke...he had elaborate stage shows that ended up costing him more than he was actually making per concert. Britney probably doesn't see shit-all from her cd-sales (money goes back to the label for video expenses, song writers, etc), and now that's she preggers, I guess she wont be touring much either :D

Hammer was an idiot. He spent all of his earning on that huge house, some 50+ cars, and so on if your watched Behind the Music. So he was out of countrol. TLC had a bad record deal, just like Toni Braxton, and any number of others. Which is why they went broke.

As for Spears she made what.. 5 or 7 million from just Pepsi, not to mention all the other endorsements? She is far from broke since she has 2-3 houses, just remodeled the L.A. home, and so on.

Even some tool like her I am sure has her mother, or someone managing her money. She has made more than enough money she should never have to work in her life if managed right. Thankfully this includes releasing another album. So she can fade off as a tween idol of the 90's and vanish.

i can tell you 100% her voice is processed and "tone correction" is obviously done on her work, as well as most processed pop music.

i have friends who do voice corrction in recording studios here.

software does it now

software can fix pitch and tone using a mouse.... her voice is not good.
