    Clean GFY the FUCK up: Ban all sigs.

    I've had sigs ignored forever, great feature, but with the recent 150+ posts-per-day sig whores this week, enough is enough.

    Tired of sigs, sig whores, sig drama, sig abusing sponsor contests, sig everything.

                                                                                          That's why I edited my post. I actually agree with you to an extent... the sig drama is getting out of hand... established sig guys versus new sig guys and "call out" threads. Basically pots calling kettles black. It used to be entertaining... not anymore. Maybe people are feeling threatened cuz instead of being able to charge 25 cents a post, the outsourced price per post is way way lower so they feel threatened?

The people speaking up most vocally in a negative way, including personal attacks, are the ones driving a significant portion of their monthly income simply from spamming a message board. That alone speaks volumes to the issue.

                                                                                                                  It's one thing in say CD_Smith's case, where he runs contests (trivia questions for prizes), helps new webmasters maximize their revenue with personal help, and is a genuine BENEFIT to a sponsor on GFY. He's a perfect example of how in a perfect world, sponsored sigs would be an asset.

                                                                                                                  But for every CD_Smith there are ten jackasses here posting "thumbs up" in every thread simply to qualify for some idiotic sponsor prize. That's the real issue.

The sig guys are just trying to make a living. If it wasn't such a big deal to have your company banner flying in every thread, it wouldn't matter.
