I tried to book through starwood and it said that nothing was available, so I think that supports the balckout date theory.

you can use them there but dont expect to be able to use them for upgrades or the weekend of internext... the SPG program means fuck all (except for points accumulation) since our buddies at AVN have "bought out" the entire joint for that time.

if you've got a bunch, keep saving for some nicer resorts ;)
