Technically I won all $1000.00.

If I didnt call it like I see it, it is my opinion that there would have been far more loosers and the winnings going out for the wrong reasons.

The way to go in a contest like this is to put everyone's entry up but not put their names beside them. That way people can vote on the work and not have the temptation to vote based on the person. Entrants should be sworn to secrecy about whose entry is whos, and there would be no room to bitch whatsoever.
Lensman ran such a competition, in the miss GFY contest, when each girl had to write an article answering a seriies of questions. No one was told whose submission was whos, it made for a more interesting competition as well.

Dear AlienQ -- The difference is, is that I do regular business with Badmunchkin. Why? Because he's solid, reliable, I can count on him to deliver, and he's a man of his word. To me that's worth something. I'm also here because I can plainly see that his work is superior to yours in my opinion, and also because I don't like the allegations you unfairly made against him, and I don't like your piss-poor attitude displayed here.
However in your case, I do not do business with you. I never have done business with you. It became clear quite quickly after you registered here that you aren't the kind of person I would ever want to do business with. Why? Because your attitude plain and simply put, sucks. I don't work with people whose attitude sucks anymore, haven't had to since I quit my old job back in '98-'99 and went full time at this.
I do tons of referrals to other webmasters and companies every month, including some design work. None of those referrals will ever be going your way, because I don't refer people to guys like you whose attitude sucks. When I refer a client to someone I basically put my name behind what I am referring. Your shit-for-brains attitude shows me time and time again that having anything to do with you business-wise would be a stupid and otherwise very avoidable mistake.
Will this news kill you? Probably not, but hey, lost business is lost business. And like much of your other troubles, you done brung it on yourself. I have tried to offer you advice on how to better conduct yourself but you continually choose to ignore it thinking your way is better. I see you're having so much success doing things your way. :D
