Why can't they make a video camera that's comfortable to hold?

    Why can't they make a video camera that's comfortable to hold?

    Did my first shoot with my new camera on the weekend, and I swear they made it seriously uncomfortable and cumbersome to hold... It's a Sony HVR Z1U, HDV/DVCam. The quality is amazing, the lens is just.. Wow, the features on this thing blow me away, but it's heavy and unlike the VX-2100 it isn't comfortable to hold. Buttons aren't located where I'd like them to be for how I generally held the VX-2100.. Anyhow, here's a pic of the camera beside a Canon GL1 for size comparison..



    Other then the comfort, this thing fucking rocks, don't get me wrong. If I could hump it, I probably would

                                                  Question are using hdv or dv on it , Im going to wait til the jvc comes out before I make a choice.
