I don't shoot any solutions down in flames. Anything to fight these scums is good. And I have NEVER pushed lawsuits from affiliates against adware. If you read any of my posts, I've always said that affiliates wouldn't win these cases against adware. The only ones who have any chance at all at winning are sponsors.
But when you think you've come up with solutions, you also have to look at EVERY ASPECT of how adware works. Most people here didn't even know that a popup was not needed to overwrite cookies with zango. So you don't see a popup on a site, it doesn't mean that the site is safe from it. You HAVE to test that part too. Once you've tested every phase of it and you come up with nothing, then you know you've got something. You (not necessarily "you" but I mean "you" in a general term) can't do a half ass job and claim that you found a solution. It just doesn't work that way. Either you do it right and test it from every angle or you don't do it at all. I was just pointing out the other angles to you.
A solution is only a solution when you know it works.

For however long, it doesn't matter, as long as it works for a little while.
