hum, stupid things on a first date... let me see...
oh here's one!
new to the whole dating thing I agreed to a blind date. turned up to the cafe with my gay best friend sitting on the table next to me pretending not to know me but there to bitch slap the guy if he turned out to be a freak.
boy walks up, very nice looking and well dressed. hear gay best friend hiss 'hot, nice shoes!' and since things looked like they would go ok he left. stupid thing? I agreed to a second date.
spent 4 years (good years I should say) with a guy who was possibly more interested in my gay best friend!
never trust nice shoes.....
