Help me figure out what happened here----->

A few nights ago, my buddy comes by after driving back from downtown, LA. He comes in and tells me he saw something weird on the freeway:

"I'm driving down the 110, and notice cop cars stopped on the other side. I slow down and look closer and there's a guy ONLY in boxers laying on top of the hood of this dark/grey car with his head cut off and blood everywhere. And a few hundred feet away from this a bunch of other cop cars stopped and a couple of cars hit there. But this car wasn't badly hit and it was far from that scene."

what are some scenarios you guys think happened?

he was probably thrown through tree libs or a hit a big road sign. people are decapitated everyday in car accidents. most of them are thrown from the vehicle due to no seat belts. maybe the paramedics/ first responders cut his clothes off of him?

Guy was committing suicide, jumped off an overpass wearing only his boxers. Got hit, knocked his head off.

The moral of the story...when driving in LA traffic try not to lose your head, and just in case you might get in an accident, always wear clean underwear.

BTW, it's pretty standard procedure for cops to cover gruesome scenes like that right away. Maybe what you thought you saw wasn't accurate.

Turn on the news and see what happened? If there was a fatal incident on the 110, it will most likely make the news.

My only problem with the story is, if it was a fatal accident / incident, they would have shut the freeway down for the investigation. Was it just LAPD or was it CHP? I also doubt the dead guy would have been left uncovered for everyone to see. Standard operating procedure dictates covering the victim.

they had just arrived to the scene... ambulences were not there yet...

hahaha . . . you think they are going to close a freeway everytime someone dies on it? We would be at more of a standstill than normal if that happened.
