I never saw the thread but after the latest fiasco you may want to take another pole, there are a bunch of threads right now with Canadian webmasters asking for some sort of assistance from anyone.
I think the amount of interest would suprise you.
Not to mention I for one and I am sure many others would be willing to pay a fee over and above the visa fee for the ability.
But thats just my thoughts.
