I'll be 45 in a month and I still get excited

Though I went one year when I was 33 telling everyone I was 34. I don't know why I thought I was 34. I'm not very good with numbers

I'm right behind you, hon! Yesterday when I was complaining about how little yard work I'm getting accomplished, due to aches and pains, hubby said, "Well, you ARE 43, yanno!" My sister made sure to remind him, "Uh, she's forty-FOUR!"

Damn, nothing like being reminded how much older I am than everyone else in my life, sheesh!

I don't get excited by birthdays anymore, though I may have a grand bash when I turn 50... I'll deserve it!

10 - Double Digits
13 - Now a teenager
16 - Drivers LIcense
18 - Now an adult
21 - Can drink legally
25 - Car Insurance goes down.

That's about it.

Right now I am 19, and I turn 20 in 4 days. This is the first year I am NOT excited about my birthday. Main reasons are that I wont be a teenager anymore, and that was always a good excuse for many things

and also due to probation and piss tests I wont be able to partake in a ritual called "Birthday Blunts" with my 2 best friends who one has a bday the day b4 mine and the other the day after mine.

It depends. A lot of people don't know how to plan fun anymore.. Birthdays can be as fun as any other day, but people are more willing to come out to a birthday party I think.. different atmosphere I think.

I am turning 37 December 16th and the ONLY thing exciting about this Bday will be I will be with my family for that day and that as been over 5 years it as not happened.

Appart from that it was my 18th BDay, became an adult started to do what ever i wanted whenever I wanted. Since then it's pretty much been just an excuse to party harder with friends ;-)
