Let me break down my logic:

First, I don’t doubt what you say as a plausible possibility and I do agree that SD can beat Indy in the playoffs.

But, it all comes down to Thursday night.

“If” KC pulls a win out of Denver, they will get the tie breaker against SD. If KC loses, they are out and it is between SD and Denver. However, consider the history of KC and Denver in regular season, they split a lot.

Now, Denver and SD have a rematch, Right? It is highly unlikely that SD will sweep that series. No offense, but playing in SD is like playing in a neutral stadium. I have seen games in SD and KC, trust me, they don’t have a valuable homefield advantage like KC and Denver have.

In this case, SD is out.

In any case, I do think SD is great and I do think it is unfortunate that any of the three mentioned teams will be left out.

I think you could be right and I wouldn’t be shocked. But if I were betting on things, I would go with my order. I don’t see Marty winning a big one against Denver down the road.
