I had a muslim friend that once told me that it is the mandate of Islam to make whole world muslim, the nice way or otherwise. He wasn't kidding either. Most people on earth have no real clue about what's going, since most of the western media is filtered by the time any significant story goes public. Islam destroyed Christianity in Constantinople (with Rome sticking it to Constantinople with false promises to help) and has penetrated the European fabric as well giving the Euro-muslims a significant voice. Most of Africa has gone muslim in the last 100 years, with only a few pockets of Christians and Jews interspersed here and there. Of course the middle east is just about 100% muslim and the numbers of muslims in Asia rises daily. Penetration has been slower in North and South America but it can't be ignored. I know I may anger some people with what I am about to say but muslims need to have a limited voice in western countries and societies. And if you ask why, then you simply have to do your own research. Almost every single non-muslim asset has been seized by muslims in Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Ethiopia and every other muslim nation. The EU has made it crystal clear to Turkey that they must allow and accept freedom to practice and recognize non-muslim religions in Turkey. They refuse. But, they are allowed to practice and be muslim all over Europe. This should set off bells and whistles in non-muslims all over the world. If muslim nations do not want to co-exist with other peoples, be it Christians and Jews, why should they be allowed to practice their own religion in Western countries?
