Apologies if it's already been posted, I don't surf GFY 24/7.
;)
Hmm...why not? How are they hanging recently? Did you ever go into the gaming business? My brother sold out...as he could not get reliable help and grew tired of the hours he was putting in per week...between the business...and his full time job.
heheh.. I've been working 8:30am till 2am... looots of shit to do atm. I check in a bit like now but i feel guilty.. trying to get about 3 sites into MAS, another dozen decent ones just up.. a couple of tgps/mgps, a bunch of mainstream stuff. Just crazy. Moved the tv into the office so i'm not tempted to leave the comp to watch my shows. lol.

No I didn't, although I'd almost still do it in a slightly modified dual purpose way... The thing that really fell down was employees and wage cost on the profit. I'd have to man it myself to make any decent cash which im not about to do. One way I saw it working was employing young designers & coders during the day and making it a bit of a web/design/internet marketing sweatshop by day on around ten computers and a LAN gaming thing by night.
Coming the other way around.. If i took out a nice office in the main street I could almost do just that now although i'd need another 5 computers. But can't have a kid on minimum wage overlooking a bunch of kids playing games on "real work" computers... I'd have to lock all the adult folders each night.
Also I have ownership issues.. I hate people using my personal comp... even employees.
You would do it just to have a LAN gaming biz. It's a bit of a hassle to try and eek that much extra cash out of the machines and location.. I mean you'd prolly only make an extra $500 a week... and advertise to every thief and vandal in town where all your machines are... potentially fucking up the far more lucrative services side of things during the day.
