What do you do when you want to shoot content but dont have a studio?

and dont want models coming to your apartment for house and shooting?

What are some ways you can do shoots when you dont have a place?
Is there a company out there where you can rent studios, do you just use motel rooms?
This would be solo stuff so I dont even need a bed really

Places do rent houses.
You can rent a room.
You can rent studio space.
You can shoot outdoors.
You can use a friends apartment if he is both gay and clean.
You can use a hotel but if you do you may want to bring your own posters, decore, and blankets.

Find someone who thinks it's kewl to film porn in their house.

I have an investor for one of my companies. He knows nothing about the biz, just wants to learn (yeah right). Anyways, I film a lot of shit at his house, boat, and so forth. I think he's in it more for the creepy factor (i.e. women hanging out at his house so he can show off his shit).

But I've also looked at renting furnished apartments, hotel rooms, and so forth. But when I've mentioned stuff to friends, they always tell me for a change of scenery I could use their place if I wanted.

If you do not have the budget, ask around. There is always someone who wanted women running around half naked at their place.

network - simple as that. get to know owners of clubs, bars etc. when I was shooting they often offered their place for a shoot. In a worse case scenerio, go to a classy hotel with all the works and do some shooting there. jacuzzi, hot tub, city skyline on the porch area.. hell.. even find a national park / forest / waterfalls nearby and go there. Get on a subway for flashing, or carwash - Be creative.

i bought an RV, you can revt a spot to keep it cheap

most RV parks are 300 to 400 a month, unless your out in the boonies, then you can probably rent a spot for half that. you can get a lot of rv for a lil coin!

Years ago before I had a studio I used hotels - never had a problem. Lol, the wasted hotel expense for the occasional no-show is the least of your expenses. Over the years I had about 5 no-shows after paying $250 - $500 for flights; its part of the business.

The front desk is not a problem. Just be discreet, and I chose motel type setups where I did not have to parade girls past the front desk. The funny thing was, most of the time I rented the room early, with the male talent who helped me setup the lights. Often I'd look back and see the front desk winking at each other; they figured we were a couple of gays.

Thanks Jonathan, We built our studio because of the lack of good studio space for rent. There are alot of studios around but very few that cater to adult productions. All the studios out there are white, white, and umm white with very little set choices. Shooting outdoors is always a great choice, but when you need goo indoor places to shoot seek out a studio that allows adult (most dont) and if you ever in the NYC area hit us up our studio is very affordable
