Here's a little trick.

Wrap the ribs in foil and put a little bit of apple juice in there and seal the foil
up.

Put the ribs in the oven at 225 for 3.5 hours.

Do not go over 225 degrees no matter what !

You can add a dry rub or other spices before you wrap them in
foil but I guarantee they will be tender.

Take them out of the foil and grill them

Get some liquid hickory smoke and pour about 3 table spoons in with the apple juice.

They will taste like you smoked them for 12 hours when you didn't

Whatever you do - NEVER BOIL YOUR RIBS AGAIN!

If you must for time, BAKE them as someone mentioned above.. Boiling will kill them. It removes all the flavor and doesn't allow the fat to break down properly to really make the meat tender.
