Or do you mean like really butt ugly and you're just stuck working closely together every day... and somehow you start seeing through the butt ugliness, and seeing that she's got a sense of humour that makes me laugh, just a little dark... and she's read many of the same books as me... shares the same attitudes about things and peoples and philosophies... has the same quirky taste in movies... likes the same kind of art... has thought about her opinions before forming them... won't take shit from me even if I'm a supervisor type... makes a hell of a good supper... gives and takes what I like to take and give in bed... acts like a goof-off buddy when we're together... makes me think when she talks, shuts me up when I don't think before I do... introduces me to new or better ways of seeing the world, people around, and myself... is honest when my cooking sucks... makes me comfortable enough to talk about anything... trusts me... makes me unable to lie to her about anything... same taste in music... and on like that?

Is that what you mean? Could something like that happen?
