some dude named alex or alexander from there called me.

seems kinda scammy to me.. but not sure. Prices are high for the traffic.
this is the follow up email he sent to me after we spoke.

It was good talking to you earlier today, as I mentioned
before, we sell traffic from our main page which gets 77k
uniques per day.

We are selling our text link spot, exit spot(paid tests
first) and our thumb pic spot. Normally we only use text
links for trading traffic(each text link sends out 1k-2k
uniques/day) but we reserved a number of spots for sale due
the many requests from webmasters with smaller ad budgets.
Here is our pricing for our traffic below:

TEXT LINK(30k-60k uniques Per MONTH) - $550 per MONTH

EXIT Test (77k/day, 36-48 hour test) - $700
Weekly price for EXIT traffic - $2750 Per Week
Thump Pic(80k-120k/MONTH) - $1500 per MONTH

Traffic brokers are mostly scammers and I never heard of them any way, but 2.5 years, with the same url is what I am wondering

Those guys are scammers from way back...stay away from them. I know a couple guys that got scammed by them

They telephoned me (one of the risks of having your 800 # listed on your web sites, but necessary for hard good sales). The initial approach was a traffic trade but switched quickly to buying their "last text link available".

A bit of research on Alexa and Kartoo showed they were mainly channeling ebony traffic. Not my niche, so I turned them down.

They love to spam

I have NEVER heard anyone speak highly of any traffic they bought, though perhaps they are just keeping it under their hats when they find a good one.

Obviously. There are a couple excellent traffic brokers, but no one who buys from them would ever post their urls on this board. I hope, anyway. The ones who test the traffic they buy for a while before they sell it off are the ones to go with, but the ones I know of are usually sold out at least 4-6 months in advance.

I have never heard of them either - you can check my sig, for purchasing traffic though. Someone said no one would post if they had good luck - not true.. no secret but the traffic has been very good to me :-)

Scammer offer 30k-60k visitors per month for $500.

The site actually has almost no visitor. Total traffic received are less than 50. Not 50k. 50.

Perhaps there is a "misunderstanding"

So we pretended to be a customer with a different addresses. Here scammer repeatedly make the fraudulent claim that visitors will get 30-60k visitors per month. The guy go all the way giving false testimony shilled by himself or his partners.

We keep record of the whole conversation.

Basically with help from some victims I got a friend to pretend to be a potential buyer. That way you can see by your self what sort of statement that he used to lure customers and which one of which count as fraud.

Some interesting ones are these:

Contras that to comments from his real customers:
First...they wanted me to overnight the check..I did that. ONE MONTH and
SEVERAL emails later..they finally added my link. But..ok..they screwed up
that part..I can forgive that for traffic.


As for the traffic..lets just say that I will never give these guys another
penny, ever. According to my stats, I got less than 100 hits from them.


I cant imagine they told you to contact me since I have let them know about
my disappointment.

That would be the FBI. The FBI wont do anything because of the dollar
amount involved is too low. The BEST thing to do is to let as many people as
possible know, which I have started doing by posting on the boards that most
webmasters read.

Anyway, however when we pretended to be a customer and ask for some referrals straight from the fraudster, suddenly he has several "customers" giving good testimony. I thought giving false self testimony is illegal. Go figure....

As far as our traffic goes, we ONLY get paysite, link site, adult SE
and bookmark/homepage traffic... that is it. We DONT get any tgp,
script or cj traffic whatsoever.
