Le Tour De France - Are you ready? (Video)

Before I sat behind a desk & the wheel of a car 18hrs a day, I was a time trialist & I used to race triathlons.

The most I did was 160 miles a day on a bike, 540 in a week twice (SF to LA) and a Half Ironman.

I never got to this level but it always fascinated me.

Cool ride Nyls! The owner of Anabolic has a Lightspeed and is training for a century with one of his directors. They ride Semi Valley & Rocky Point all the time. I'd be happy to just get in 20 miles and make it up the hill I live on without tipping over.

In fact, I just got back from a 45m recovery ride. I'm more of a roadie/climber than a TT guy.

We were recently recovering from a huge debt, and were going to sell my Softride to pay some bills - and were taking my bike out the door... and I broke down & brought it back inside. Later that week, I sold eight movies for around $100K. Glad I never sold it. Going for a ride right now.
