                                    This version of .xxx can be changed or it can be stopped. Its looking like it wont be stopped by us, but by our government Commerce Department.

                                    I never noticed in all these flow charts that there was any seat in the IFFOR with an actual adult representative. What I have read is they are all mainstream guys. So what source are looking through?

                                                    I've known many a church to have "Bingo" nights, even "Vegas" style carnivals.

                                                    Most major banking institutions in the US will not allow you to use your card for "online gambling" for various reasons. Due to the limited number ( compared to adult sites) it has been fairly easy for them to "adopt a policy" against these transactions.

                                                    The reason these sites survive is they are not as much of an impulse purchase.

                                                    Walk down your street tomorrow and poll a few people and ask them what is a larger problem gambling or porn . Or better yet ask them if they registered and voted then ask that question.

                                                    If they can do it to gambling they can do it to us if we are in a neat package.

                                                    OH and I'm just about tired of us as an industry thinking we make the CC companies SOOOOOOOOO much money. In reality we don't .As an industry we are in their top 5 for biggest headache, and no where near that for profit. Stop kidding yourself. If our numbers go to shit, Visa would not blink.

                                                    and the better portion of our customers are NOT going to a 3rd party so they can view porn. It's just a Fact.

                                                                                        visa has set their guidelines. If we follow them they process for us.

                                                                                        As an industry we are a headache.

                                                                                        If our transactions decreased as an industry, Visa would not shed a tear.

                                                                                        If banking institutions had the ability to block our transactions easily and did so visa would not care. That is one less chargeback to handle, one less customer complaint to deal with.

                                                                                        .xxx makes that a very easy task. That is my point.

Over the years Processors been abused, surfers been abused, Program owners been abused and nothing has come forward to slow it down or halt it.

                                                                                            5000 .xxx Domains moving money to combat fraud, combat law makers, and regulate a practices code for adult companies within .xxx.

                                                                                            Within that bubble we gain alot.
                                                                                            We gain the surfers confidence back, we get the tools in place properly funded to combat fraud on a a couple sides.

                                                                                            .xxx will make alot of money, a whole lot and that money moved to benefit this industry and regulate it will insure our progress.

The people that cause the problems are going to do it with or without .XXX (either on a .com or on a .xxx throwaway domain) so why would it do any good to move domains somewhere that makes it really easy to filter.
