There is a great clip of him in Miami beach (bruno) turning down this guy at a club, saying his shirt is not good enough to get in and the guy is getting mad "this is a 250 dollar shirt"
Bruno tells him to put a little effort into his wardrobe if he expects to get in.
I think it's funnier to laugh at the self absorbed people he is interviewing than at him. That one guy thought house music ended world war II and apartheid!

the 45 million includes the budget for the actual movie as well, not just his salary.
Sure.. the production budget and rights is just over $13 mill, so leaves a nice lump for star fees.
Kinda funny having a budget of $13 mill for a series of fake documentary scenes cut together It must be the most expensive set of filmed interviews ever
Ali G Indahouse (2002). Not very good, its all movie, no interview footage or anything. He should (and needs to since the fame of his 3 characters are so big) make up some new characters.
Check out "Dog bites man" by the same creators. Real funny, same sort of concept with 4 news team members.
Years ago before Ali G hit the Comedy channel used to run 'bruno' bits between shows late at night. They annoyed me so much I would mute the tv while he was on.
Anyway, just reminds me of a rip off of Deeter from Mike Meyers.
