my sister shut the heavy garage door on two of my fingers - she couldn't figure out why the door wouldn't shut - so she kept on slamming it with my two fingers caught in it - it's a miracle i didn't lose them. damn - that was 30 years ago and just writing about it I am kinda nauseous.

when i was 13 i took a slapshot square in the mouth - loosened all my bottom teeth but they survived.

when i was 14 and very drunk i ran face first into a metal post at night - i was staying with friends, i think i really had a concussion but everybody was drunk and nobody drove and nobody wanted to tell any parent - i had a headache for a week and felt weird.
