Actually, that wouldn't always be the case. Get one verbally abusive, insulting, mean asshole on your case, who can't argue worth shit but only uses insults as a weapon, what do you do? Sink to the same level or emphasize his stupidity by pointing to his spelling mistakes, despite English being his native language? Of course, you could also use the ignore function.
