You have a point there, but that's only with those that are extremely poor like
in the 3rd world. But most of the "minimum wage and factory workers", like
TS stated have a lot of kids because they feel rich/happy having them.
I have a friend who works at (almost) minimum wage, and he has 4 kids running
around.. The guy can't afford any luxury at all, so I asked him one day why he
and his wife (she's not working) did decide to have that many kids.
He could have 2 and live (imho) relatively good..
He turned his head to his kids who were sitting at the dining table
and just said "Jazz man, I live like a king just look at my treasures".
And there they were. Sitting at the dining table, playing a board game
and laughing like only kids can laugh. It was just like in some family-movie.
I immediately understood what he was trying to say.
