    who are these SE's buying up expired domain

    anyone know who these people are like netsetter and such that are buying up all the expired domains.
    they are really getting annoying. I dont see how they make any money off them.

      it was explained in another thread, they buy them check if they get any traffic, and drop the ones that don't have without making payment

              They are just hoping to get a gem. I just saw a godaddy page when I went to pervertsworld.com and I know they had a lot of traffic.

                      this one guy, I think who I have out bidded before and ran the price of the domain name up to about 1k, got up at like 6am this morning to snag a domain from me only to send the traffic to some stupid wannabe SE full of pills and travel crap. the domain had traffic I wanted and this guy makes sure he is up to get it at the last minute of the auction.

                      overall I think Porn sites are more honest (overall) then most other sites like travel, pills and such, those are the sites they need to be targeting, not porn.

                          When sedo goes bust, domains will become worthless again, I am waiting with a fistfull of cash for when that happens..

                          I just bid on a few expired domains, these redirecting sedo PPC idiots are sucking them up over my bids at ridiculous prices such as $150.00 a pop for blah-blah-blahblah.net like domain

                          Eventually there wont be anything left and they'll belly up. Since redirecting it just drops and shit cans it from all the search engines, in 1-2 years the game will be over, and then all these players will have no money and be dropping all their gems like crazy to pay their bills...

                          No money in SEO, until 2007!
