I'm talking about you.. instead of sticking up for you he should have taken that thread as a warning of future deals.Originally posted by thinkxOh he did. He programmed the first script in like 3 days. Thumbsup for that no problem. He just fucked up this one. And were stuck with the consequences.
But I'm sure you knew what I was talking about.HAH! FOUND IT FRISComment

There's 2 sides to this story
Someone who gets mad because he asked someone to do a small programming job for him, and 2 months later he still has nothing... totally understandable he gets mad, fuzebox shouldn't take this offer if he wasn't capable of finishing it before the so called 'deadline'
But there also the programmer, who seems to be honest and really sorry, and really wants to pay the money back, but before he has the chance to do that, this issue gets taken to the boards..
Conclusion, fuzebox was wrong by taking this job, and thinkx was wrong by taking this issue to the board too quick...
Friends?
No sig.

except thinkx went to extremes before trying to resolve the issue, this isnt the only board he posted on.. and it appears he's a known crookOriginally posted by NylzThere's 2 sides to this story

I agree, I fucked up and shouldn't have taken the job. It hasn't been "two months though", he told me two months ago that he had a project he wanted me to do, and I told him I couldn't do it because I was busy with other projects.
I think we've come to an understanding on ICQ though.

This thread was so uncalled for
fuzebox has always been a professional... I've even had disagreements with him about proper dress code for conducting business. He's a fantastic programmer and regardless of what the circumstances may have been with this project; he did offer to refund you the money.
The first post in this thread said it's been 2 months, but fuzebox said you paid him last week. Paid upfront, yes... but a week ago, not 2 months ago... if I'm not mistaken?
He said he would refund your money and instead of keeping it in email or other private communication, you brought it to the board for no reason. We're talking about $100 project here, not a multi million dollar investment.

Yeah, this thread is now on other boards where people are just jumping to an opinion of Fuzebox without working it out as we did here.Originally posted by Napoleanexcept thinkx went to extremes before trying to resolve the issue, this isnt the only board he posted on.. and it appears he's a known crookComment

the issue was going to be resolved, thinkx has resorted to slander.. fuze has to spend hours now sorting everything out to clear his rep.Originally posted by NichePay - StuartDYeah, this thread is now on other boards where people are just jumping to an opinion of Fuzebox without working it out as we did here.
to be totally honest, if someone did this to me.. fuck the refund, now they owe me

I'm the troll? You came in here trolling on all programmers by giving them a stereotype.Originally posted by MickeyGgo troll someone else. Im not hear making false drama like Im gonna beat up Kimbo or I have 100's of sales per day.. DirtyDS is a joke
I'm not defending DirtyDS, I dont even know the guy. I was stating an observation, if I dont feel your credibility is better than DirtyDS than chances are plenty of people on here feel the same.
I'm defending a friend, and if your going to take things personal then maybe you should mind your own business?HAH! FOUND IT FRISComment

Stereotype? more like telling it how it is. Alot of programmers and designers both pull this shit. You'll have it tommorow, tommorow.. you can read the icq's posted and see that was the situation here.Originally posted by NapoleanI'm the troll? Was thinkx wrong bringing it to the board like this and not posting the full email sure, absolutely.
As far as my credibility goes you have no reason to doubt me or anything I say, I've never given you any reason to think otherwise. And to group me with that lying idiot (DirtyDS) was certainly offensive.
Either way I have no issues with you, have a nice day

What a silly thread..
How many times do we need to go over rules of business on gfy..
#1 - DONT GIVE PEOPLE MONEY UP FRONT - ( without a signed contract with clear and precise details )
#2 - IF THEY DONT LIVE UP TO THE CONTRACT, DONT COMPLAIN ON GFY, SUE THEM ( thats why you have the contract ).
This story sounds like EVERY PROGRAMMER on the face of the earth ( for such a small project ) Its hit or miss with a small job and a client who isn't affiliated..
This kind of job is exactly why you have an inhouse guy for.hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

Sure its hard to find reliable people to do work for you, I know all about that.. but they are out there. So its not fair to dub every programmer and designer as a scammer or slacker.Originally posted by MickeyGStereotype? more like telling it how it is. And I wasnt grouping you in the same category as DirtyDS, your taking my comments too personal.. but you see my point, even after I posted it I knew I left an opening because you could have very easily turned the same statement back around on me.
Not everyone knows me, not everyone knows you, not everyone knows DirtyDS.HAH! FOUND IT FRISComment
