i'll say it again, the Democrats did NOT WIN. The Republicans lost. There is a huge difference. Don't for a second think that suddenly middle America decided abortion was okay, gay rights are the wave of the future, and that we're going Green and signing the Kyoto agreement.
The Democratic Party has become more moderate over time, and their agenda is in reality BARELY indistinguishable from the Republican agenda. All the shit that has been flung for the last few years has been POLITICS. Not policy, not a new direction, but school-yard name calling on a global scale. "George Bush is a moron" is NOT a political platform.
Don't forget how many of these fucking spineless hypocrits voted for the war in the first place.
