I'm a big gamer and a toy like the PS3 is a must have for me. In fears of me missing out on a pre-order or not wanting to or being too late in line at a local retailer, I actually bought a PS3 from Ebay for $1400 about a week ago. The person was second in line at Gamestop and had a great feedback.

Before all of you jump on me telling me how stupid I am for it, I think that it's a wise move. For one, if you look on Ebay now, most of the systems pre-ordered through a major chain are going for $1400-$2500 and once the system actually does come out, the price is gonna go even higher. I could even turn around and resell it myself for a profit if I could find the willpower.

I still hope that I can pull a pre-order from one of the big online stores that didn't take orders yet, so I can make that money back, but if not, I guess that I'll be a happy PS3 owner

At least I'm not sitting in front of Best Buy for 9 days, ha ha ha.
