if it was only that easy dude both tendants below me would be gone... there is a reason i blasted the music... there is a gang of guys that are always downstairs parting till like 3am blasting music and talking loud.. if you know how black ppl can talk loud you will know what i mean.. they never pay there rent and always having the cops come over, still they continue.. the landlord claims he cant kick them out but wishes he could.. they got no furniture, just a couch tv and xbox, no blinds either.. than right below me is an alcoholic that smashes shit, slams doors, yells at the guys downstairs, constantly calling them the N word.. im surprize he is still alive... his gf has two black kids that he keeps saying he will smack the black off, calls them the N word as well, he beats his wife and he thinks im his best friend, always knocking on my door asking me to come down for a beer, he blasts motley crue every single morning at 7am till my floor is shaking... my girlfriend is pregnant and on my case about these people and the noice, we moved here in this neighbourhood hoping we would have peaceful neighbours... believe me....

I am very happy I got a chance to blast my music.. and I got every right too.

even at this very moment... the guy downstairs is blasting music.. I wish the landlord could just kick them out like he wishes.

Time to find a new apartment?

I have never had those problems with my rental units, ever. Chalk it up to my property being in good locations, and to good tenant selection. I check people's references unlike some landlords.

But if I ever did have such problem tenants, they would be out. Period.

The landlord & tenant act is there to protect both parties, not just the tenant. The landlord is hardly powerless. :D
