Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that Squishypimp is building a site... and... let's pretend that he's actually paid for some of the stuff on it, like a design and what not.

Now let's pretend that he's actually talking to people about it, and even thinking about making money with it... through advertising perhaps?

Now, if this were true... hypathetically speaking of course...

Wouldn't you agree that stating that he's a "low life" and just "acting" like he's "nice and polite" and that he's "fooling everyone" could be detrimental to his efforts in getting started in this business?

Infact, wouldn't you agree that it's down right defamatory unless these accusations can be backed up in some way... you know, maybe with a fact or two?

As a matter of fact, if it actually could be proven (hypathetically of course) that Squishypimp paid for a design, made contacts, sold his sig and has infact actually become, or is becoming, a webmaster in this business... would you not agree that making attacks both personally and business wise is infact against the rules at GFY... as well as in the eyes of the law?

Actually, would you not agree that if even one single person has read any one of your accusations about his "fooling everyone" and his being a "lowlife" and thus decided to not ever do business with him based on those accusations... would that not be a case for Libel??

I'm speaking hypathetically of course.

Because luckily for you, his "acting" is so good, that he'd probably pretend to be to "nice and polite" to ever think of you in this hypathetical situation.
