I had it once, and I purposely showed up 15 minutes late. If I couldn't follow simple instructions to be there on time, certainly they'd weed me out quickly... and I was right. I walked back out the door less than one minute after I got there. She was nice about it and just said "I have enough people." but I'm sure it was because I was late.
Just don't show up.. They don't do anything to you.
40% of people don't even go. Courts don't have the time or money to go tracking down jury duty no shows.

I'm back, well that went great I got asked a few questions and boom I was out of there. I get to say my uncle and aunt are both FBI and were cop's for over 30 years each and my brother-in-law is in jail right now for felonies.
